Tonight alone in my room

Hihihi today was an eventful day. I got a huge thrashing down this morning because my strokes were totally messed up and I felt so angry at myself too. Shitzz. Felt like I climbed up to the peak of the mountain and slipped drastically, rolled down the rocky roads, and ended with a painful BAMP. I so wanna cry, but I won't. Okay so I failed to stay home to fully relish in the remnants of the holidays, to completely sleep the entire New Year's Eve away. Huh but that isn't a bad thing, right? I hate 2008, because it signifies the start of the new school term in the old school, and everything I've accomplished this year will be negated when the clock strikes midnight and the crowds roar. I ain't roaring at all.

Like what everyone is doing, I shall do a quick flashback of the entire year. 2007 was the best year of my neither long nor short 16 years. It was the most hectic, and also the most meaningful and fulfilled year of all. As far as I can remember, the first thing that made 2007 a momentous year was that DHSCO clinched the GoldwHonours award. We worked so hard for it, srsly. I can't put the memory exactly into words, but it's a memory that will be deeply etched in my mind forever. Then um, class level camp at Malaysia was a blast. We clinched first for the song competition, and I truly felt the 4G spirit burning. (I sound so cliche) Srsly, our class song pwnz. And last June, I got psychoed to go for CCO trip and it ended up being so good. I made so many friends, and our concert was critically acclaimed as well! I remember the late nights in the hotel playing Murderer with Lemon Tree (xD!) The entire trip felt so endless that I almost forgot that we had to return home one day. If not for the trip I wouldn't have made such friends like Yiusum and Jiahui, and would have gave up on my CO career.

Remember 6A?

We had like the first proper class outing today after so many years of procrastinating. Played a little of (bad) tennis in the morning and then everyone came and Gena was like attempting to make everyone play concentration because the food hadn't arrived. When it did we were all saved and so was my stomach xD And then slouched around and stuff. Yows but I'd to leave early so I guess I missed out the afterward fun. But still, kudos to Eng Wei for even bothering to plan a gathering, and to psycho everyone to go. Well not everyone, but at least half the class. Great job!

So I was so tired and perhaps lazy that I decided to give xyz chalet/bbq (Note: FREE FOOD) a miss. After 3 years of paying chalet funds, I've not been able to retaliate by going back as an alumni for my serving of free food and good service! Haha maybe not that of a good service but still, y'know?

Okay so my right wrist hurts like f now so I'm going to give Pulau Ubin cycling a miss despite how appealing and exciting it might seem. Crap. ):

Remember GP journals? Srsly like no, but it's visibly hidden on the front of my mind. It's not even hidden, it's sticking out obviously like a slap on my face. I'm in fricking homework-denial. Well I should get started soon even though I love being in the "Holiday: Absolutely No Homework" mood. Since I get to sleep in and stay home the whole afternoon tomorrow, I should just attempt to finish them. I mean force myself to write the essays. Oh and school is starting in days that are less than the number of fingers I have. Total dread, and what an ~~interesting orientation~~ dull and lifeless repetition it's gonna be.

Hello I'd a great and fruitful shopping expedition this morning. Thanks Mum. When my next payslip sneaks in I'm gonna be so happy because my pocket's gonna be filled with money! And by then we can look out for Jan 13, and contemplate on getting shirt/shoes/bag. I'm making it so obvious damnit.

So anyway, there's 6A gathering tomorrow! Meeting old friends and having all that catching up. It'll be so great. And XYZ chalet/bbq? There's Pulau Ubin cycling and Shicheng chalet/BBQ on Saturday. My weekend is jammed pack with fun.
Oh and on a random note, McCafe's caramel frappe tastes like Starbucks and it's much cheaper. :D!

So I did and today was a work-your-ass-off day. I didn't sit down for so many hours, and I didn't even pee from the start to the end. And I ate my dinner at 10pm without knowing it was already 10pm. But neh mind, I got my revenge anyway! Secret!! (ps. I'm looking forward to a sumptuous breakfast tomorrow morning!)

Today I decided to be a nice and hardworking person, so I headed to school early to practise for the killer song. 9 something in the morning, and apparently CO starts at 10.30am. Like, the moment I arrived Peijean told me that ttk just decided to cancel the alumni practice, claiming that he never said he wanted to practise the song at all (although they said that he did say he wanted to yesterday), and she was passing the notice down. So I'm like, WHAT THE HELL AM I HERE FOR?! Hello I crawled up super early and took mrt/bus just to come here for nothing?! Eventually we had a very nice 4 people fenzu instead of heading home dejectedly and the rest didn't turn up anyway. So interesting, and so smart of them KTHXBYE.

Random fact: I ate so much seaweed today I think I'm gonna die from seaweed overdose.
And I'm re-watching HYD because I'm one bored person staring at the relentless rain. New dramas are so repetitive and insipid I've srsly grown out of them. Who'd guess I'll come to not like watching dramas soon? Oh and who wants to shoe-hunt with me? I wanna get Vans!

A Plain Morning led me walking right into Fate.

But I daren't turn around to capture that moment. I played pretend and kept on my feet.

Yest'd: Marche Brunch at Vivo. Weixun, Jiahui, Yiusum, Yubo, Yunzhen and Esther. We sat in a "small, cosy corner" of the built-in cottage. The food was really good but the first plate of Mushroom Rosti already killed me. Like all the starch?!?! But still, I love the mushrooms tres much. Mmmm. I shouldn't have eaten the entire plate of Rosti at the starting though! After that I'd to practically shove the food down my throat, cause we filled the entire table with tons of food before tucking in. Think the hungry and poor in Africa. And I had crepes (kreeepays!)! Yows I love crepes. The ice-cream was sweetness ultimatum like omgzorz can die. Then we just walked around Vivo, where the clothes fanatics went window shopping. God. Thanks to Weixun for the treat anyway. It was really fun tryna get sensitive sour stuffs out of Mr. Lemon Tree too. Wait, did I just say that. He's like the funniest person on Earth I swear!

And I hate work suddenly. My legs are fpain from the many hours of standing. I had to use the foot massager to relieve the pain. And I think it was due to basketball several days back that I injured my hand. It's much better now though after pasting SalonPas. Anyway. My first fucking paycheck: $27. Long story, and I can't be bothered to explain. I'm leaving this rainy island for Japan tomorrow. Till then.

PLEASE STOP RAINING TOMORROW!!!

Yest'd: Met up with Amelia! Dragged my bloody bike out and it so didn't fit into the lift so I'd to carry it down the stairs. Tough job, really. Best thing was that I couldn't even cycle on it because the tyres were flaaat so I pushed it all the way to the MRT station and I suffered a lot of accidental whacks from the pedal. Then met Amelia at the mall where we had MacBreakfast, cool because I'd hotcakes after so long. They are like the best I hope hotcakes stay on the menu forever until I die. Love them so much. So like caught up with Ame and we sat there and chatted until like noontime. Pushed the frkn bike from the station to the nearest (which is like terribly far) petrol kiosk to get the types going, while Ame was on her blades. Haha I wanna get blades too! Maybe after my pay comes in? Uhm but eventually we realised that we couldn't get the wheels pumped so we were like deciding if we should go to the nearest but still far bike shop to seek help. So anyway we decided against it and headed to Kovan to play ball! Srsly it has been dinosaur years since I've been playing. It was a pretty nice feeling lost 2 years ago. I learnt how to blade too, but I still blade real badly. (ps. I fell) Got bored of playing ball so we went to the mall to get drinks and to visit Popular to get some stuff for Ame's godbro. Then we wanted to leave the mall for Bugis when we met Ame's friend from PL who was going to play ball at Kovan so we ended up slacking outside Kovan and then heading to the courts to play ball again. :D Yaye they're really fun people: Jane and Joelle. Slacked at Macs for a little while after that and went off, walking and pushing the bike from Kovan all the way to my house. Hell it really killed me.

Next time it's HKcafe! And a pair of blades! [:

Today is Subject Combi+Classes day, and I threw myself out of bed this morning specially to check the results but to no avail. Everyone was pretty impatient since yesterday, and we grew even more anxious this morning. So the list came out in the afternoon, and I'm in 5C22 along with Audrey (Classmates for 6 years!), Zhiqian, Nat, Ray, and some others.

Contrary to Ray, I don't really like it though. I mean a few of those in the classification of "some others".

Oh well.

Sakae at DTE with Feltay and Gary the SheeWei. And then we just walked around the park near DTE, played with swings and had iced coffee at Coffee Club thanks to SheeWei for the sponsorship. Yaye this whole week is gonna be boring on a whole I predict. Pictures another day or maybe none if I decide that I'm lazy. I am.

A pretty successful concert, but I hunned during some parts (I was zoning out for no reason) and then I'll be like grinning silently to myself. And the bad thing was that XYZ section was in charge of moving the instruments to and fro this time, so I hate hate hate it. Moving the coffin-like guzhengs and heavy timpanies..uhm not nice.

So it's like technically 3 Dec now. The day Laine, Mx and I have been looking forward to, the day we'll find out about our subjects and classes. For some dumb reason we've been feeling real excited, and have been reminding one another about today coming! :D When I wake up later in the morning the first thing I'll do is to check the net for the list. I hope the admin staff doesn't delay in uploading the list. Like really I've been anticipating this day okay please call me a lunatic.
